Infant Killed in Shelling Targeting Home in Western Taiz

An infant, Zaid Ali Ahmed Ali, just four months old, died from injuries sustained in a rocket attack carried out by Houthi forces on the village of Al-Suweirah in Maqbanah district, western Taiz province.

According to local sources, the baby was struck in the head by shrapnel when his family’s home came under fire. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.

The sources added that the attack caused extensive damage to the family’s house and spread fear and panic among residents of the village, who continue to live under constant threat from repeated assaults on civilian areas.
