Abandoned House Collapse in Sana’a Kills Two Boys and a Woman
Two boys and a woman were killed after an abandoned house collapsed in the village of Rabd in Wadi Al-Ajbari, part of Sanhan District in Sana’a Governorate, in a tragic incident highlighting the dangers of unsafe structures.
The Civil Defense Authority stated that the victims were Mansar Saleh Ahmed Saleh Suhail (17), Izz al-Din Saleh Ahmed Saleh Suhail (15), and Samira Ahmed Saleh Al-Bahlouli (39).
Rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the report and began search and recovery operations, retrieving the victims from beneath the rubble.
According to initial information, the collapse occurred while the victims were inside the abandoned house collecting animal feed, leading to the fatal incident.
The tragedy renews warnings about the risks of entering or staying in abandoned and structurally unsafe buildings, particularly for children. Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution to protect lives and property.
